ON A BIT OF A BREAK, BUT I'LL BE RETURNING SOON
#ConfettiCourier is a mail swap that I host once a month via Instagram.
The purpose is to provide calligraphers and creatives an outlet to practice their skills, send and receive beautiful mail, and make new friends while at it!
In the past, this mail swap has been open to anyone interested in participating. However, beginning in January 2016 all participants will be required to apply before being admitted as a participant. This change is due to the fact that it has been incredibly difficult and time consuming to manage swaps with large numbers of participants. Therefore, I will only be admitting a limited number of applicants who I think best fit the purpose and aesthetic of the #ConfettiCourier mail swap.
How it works:
1) Fill out the application form below by the 8th of the month. Filling out the form does not guarantee that you will be admitted as a participant. If you are not admitted, please do not be discouraged. Continue to apply each month or search for other mail swaps that may be more fitting on the mail swap site, SwapBot.
2) Check your email. Admitted participants will receive their swap partner's information via email by the 7th.
3) Send something beautiful to your partner by the 14th of the month, whether it's a handwritten note sealed inside of a beautiful envelope with calligraphy, an illustrated picture, a handmade watercolor, stationery or prints you've purchased, or anything else you can think of! Just be sure to get creative and send something that you would be more than happy to receive.
4) Post a pretty photo to Instagram of the contents of the package you have sent or received (or both) with the hashtag #ConfettiCourier
If you have any questions or comments, feel free to email me at ConfettiCourier@gmail.com or contact me via instagram @peytonfrank.
P.S. I am doing my best to respond to all emails and inquiries in a timely manner but as a recent college grad I am still adjusting to the "real world" and may not get back to you immediately. Please don't take it personally, I promise you'll hear from me eventually ;)
